Sauna Wood Heater: Wood-Burning Sauna Stoves and Kits
Looking for a sauna wood heater? MyEliteWellness offers wood-burning sauna stoves and stove kits from Harvia, HUUM and Cozy Heat. There are 18 models in total, so you can compare options in one place.
A wood sauna heater suits homeowners who want a real fire in their sauna. This page explains what is in the range, how to think about sizing, what the prices look like and how ordering works. Take your time. This is a purchase of several hundred to several thousand dollars, and it should feel right.
Our wood-burning sauna stoves and kits
Our wood burning sauna stoves come from three brands: Harvia, HUUM and Cozy Heat. Together they make up 18 models, including stoves and stove kits.
If you are searching for a wood burning sauna stove for sale, you will find a few different designs. Some models have an external firebox. Some have a water tank. Some have a glass door. Each design changes how the stove looks and how you use it, so it helps to decide which features matter most to you before you compare.
Stoves with an external firebox
An external firebox is one of the options in our range. If this is a feature you want, filter your search for it and compare the models that offer it. Check the product page for each model's details.
Stoves with a water tank or a glass door
Some models include a water tank, and others have a glass door. A wood stove sauna heater with a glass door lets you see the fire. A water tank is a useful extra on models that have one. Each product page lists what is included.
How to size a wood stove sauna heater
Choosing the right size is the most important step. A heater that is too small struggles. One that is too large wastes money.
Our Learn blog publishes a heater sizing guide built from the specifications of 30 heaters. It shows that electric heaters cover about 50 cubic feet per kW, while wood-burning stoves cover about 30. This means a wood stove covers less space for each kW than an electric heater does. Measure your sauna room, work out its volume, then compare it to the figures on each product page.
You can read the full guide here: What size sauna heater do I need?. If you are still weighing fuel types, you can also look at our electric sauna heaters to compare.
Sauna wood heater prices
Our wood-burning sauna stoves range from $1,076.67 to $8,430. The price depends on the brand, the model and the features you choose.
If you want a wood burning sauna stove kit, check the product page to see what is included before you compare prices. Browsing all of our sauna heaters in one place can also help you see how wood-burning and electric options compare.
Have a question about which model fits your project? You can send us a message through our contact page, and we will help you narrow down the choices.
