Home Sauna: Indoor and Traditional Models
Thinking about a home sauna? It is a big purchase, and you want clear facts before you decide. MyEliteWellness is an online retailer of home saunas in the United States, and this page covers two of our main families: traditional saunas and indoor saunas.
You can choose from 25 traditional models and 8 indoor models. They come from SaunaLife, Kohler and Finnmark. Below, we explain how the two types differ, what they cost, and how shipping and returns work, so you can compare with confidence.
What our home sauna range includes
Our traditional saunas are the classic choice. They pair a sauna room with a heater and stones. We carry 25 traditional models from SaunaLife, Kohler and Finnmark.
Our indoor saunas are made to go inside your home. We carry 8 indoor models from Finnmark, Kohler and SaunaLife. If an indoor sauna for home use is your goal, start there.
Not sure which style fits? Our guide on indoor vs outdoor saunas walks through the main differences, and the complete home sauna buying guide covers the basics from start to finish.
Traditional saunas
A traditional sauna is built around a heater. You pick the heater type that suits your space and your habits. We sell electric heaters and wood-burning stoves, so you can browse sauna heaters separately once you know the room you want.
Indoor saunas
An indoor sauna lives inside your house. Many buyers searching for the best home sauna or a top rated home sauna start by deciding where it will go. Choosing indoors or outdoors first makes the rest of the search much easier.
Traditional or infrared: how to decide
Many people searching for an IR sauna for home use also look at traditional models. They are different products. We sell both, so you can compare them side by side.
If you prefer to shop the other style, see our infrared saunas. If you want a deeper comparison first, read our article on infrared vs traditional sauna.
Outdoor space available? We also offer outdoor saunas and barrel saunas, which suit a yard better than a spare room.
Home sauna prices
Prices vary a lot with size, brand and build. Traditional saunas run from $5,320 to $35,200. Indoor saunas run from $4,695 to $35,200.
The price shown on each product page is the one to rely on. Shipping cost for models that need freight is shown on the product page before you buy, so there are no surprises at checkout.
Do not forget the heater. Our sizing guide is built from the specifications of 30 heaters. As a rule of thumb, electric heaters cover about 50 cubic feet per kW, and wood-burning stoves about 30. You can read more in What size sauna heater do I need?, or browse electric sauna heaters if you already know the direction you are heading.
Shipping, returns and payment
Sauna rooms and doors are classified as oversized, so they ship by freight (LTL). Preparation takes 3 to 5 business days, followed by an estimated 3 to 5 business days of transit within the contiguous United States. For oversized items, the shipping details on the product page take precedence. Our shipping and delivery page explains the options.
Some sauna models include shipping at no additional cost. Others do not qualify because of size, weight and freight requirements. Heaters, accessories and parts ship by small-parcel carriers such as UPS and FedEx. Standard shipping is free on orders of $75 or more within the contiguous United States.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the shipping date for eligible products. Items must be in original new condition and you need a Return Authorization. If an item arrives damaged or defective, report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos. Once confirmed, it is replaced, exchanged or fully refunded at no additional cost.
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay, in U.S. dollars. Questions before you order? Email contact@myelitewellness.com or use our contact us page.
