For use with HUUM wood-burning sauna stoves, the stone cage is mounted above the stove, surrounding the flue, and filled with sauna stones. The stone cage holds an additional 88lbs of sauna stones (sold separately) that radiate heat for extra thermal efficiency and adds more stone surface area for creating steam. The stone cage is mounted straight on the stove around the flue and filled with up to 88lbs of sauna stones. Thanks to the added stones, the surface for pouring water significantly increases, and that means less hot metal surfaces, that we wish to keep minimal in the sauna.
