Their smooth, rounded shape allows water to flow between layers and evaporate gradually, producing a softer, more even steam compared to sharp-edged stones that flash-evaporate at the surface. Proper arrangement is key to optimal results—using a mix of larger and smaller stones helps avoid visible gaps in HUUM’s open stone baskets, while placing smaller stones closer together on top improves heat accumulation and steam consistency.
